ATEI and ICE a complete success for the Suzo-Happ Group |

The Suzo-Happ group had two booths – one at the ATEI and one at theICE. The ATEI stand was managed by Suzo International (UK) Ltd with astrong focus on the home market. The international markets wererepresented by the Suzo-Happ stand at the ICE.
Looking at the UK and Irish markets first. The demand for topperscontinues to rise and this year the special focus was for the RGBtopper range. Billiard cloth from Milliken continues to be a strongseller. A growing market for Suzo International (UK) Ltd is forchangers from the German company GeWeTe. GeWeTe has been a marketleader in Germany for many years and with the new Coin Recyclercontinues to create much interest.
Turning to the international gaming market, at the ICE stand the Suzo-Happ group saw similar demand for the topper range. The RGB toppers and Xenon toppers continued the strength in depth that Suzo-Happ offers for toppers.
2008 began in a very exciting way for Suzo International. The casino group that was formed in 2007 under the management of Erik Wijma, who predicts strong expansion this year. Erik explains why “We have seen the benefit of securing component sales with the end user. This has been especially appreciated by companies that we distribute for on a global scale, such as FutureLogic. Now we have expanded this service. We are in the process of expanding our sales team to cover the market demands”.
Indeed the year 2008 is beginning for Suzo International where 2007 left off. Market figures underline the focus of Suzo’s philosophy of “best-in-class”. For touch screens, the demand for ELO products increased dramatically. The Vice President of ELO Touchsystems – Mr. Luc Mergeay – presented Suzo International’s Managing Director Marcel Oelen with an award during the ICE to commenerate the record-breaking year. Mike Sigona of ELO commented: “This award is to mark our recognition of Suzo’s exceptional performance in 2007 which has seen a staggering eight-fold increase in sales volume with a number of major contract wins across Europe. In addition we have seen an increase in market share that can only be described as phenomenal. Our association with Suzo goes back to 1999 and has grown steadily over that time, blossoming into a highly fruitful and mutually beneficial relationship last year. This is due in no small part to Suzo’s knowledge and experience of the European gaming market along with the company’s exceptional reputation and international reach.
Coming back to the ICE – the Suzo-Happ group presented the Elixir Gaming product range for the first time in London. Oelen added, “The Elixir Gaming product range brings in an added example for our customers. Now we can offer products not only for the complete range of slots but also for table gaming. Our casino range continues to grow and our dedicated Casino Catalogue has been updated”. |
